Made In NC

HuffMerch was founded by Taylor Huffman, a North Carolina–based operator, designer, and builder with over seven years of hands-on experience creating and scaling physical production businesses from the ground up. Taylor’s path wasn’t traditional — he worked his way through every layer of a high-volume print and manufacturing operation, starting on the shop floor and eventually overseeing operations, automation, and profitability for a $1.4M business. That background shapes how we operate today: practical, detail-driven, and grounded in real-world execution.

Before this, Taylor also founded and operated Gold Standard Grading, a collectible card grading and manufacturing company launched in 2021. The company focused on authentication, slabbing, and small-run collectible production — experience that now directly informs our approach to premium artifacts and limited editions. When Taylor transitioned into leadership at ONE Screenprinting, he entrusted Gold Standard Grading to his father and brother, allowing it to continue operating while he expanded his expertise in large-scale production and systems design.

Today, we function as a collective — designers, makers, and production specialists aligned around work most merch companies won’t touch. Limited runs. Complex builds. Objects that exist for more than promotion. Taylor’s guiding philosophy has always been rooted in creating something from nothing — even when that something doesn’t serve a traditional purpose. Sometimes the value is utility. Sometimes it’s nostalgia. Sometimes it’s simply the satisfaction of holding a physical artifact that didn’t exist before. We exist for creators, studios, and artists who share that instinct — and want merchandise that feels intentional, not disposable.
